Not a Good Time

  • Music: The Nutcracker (or at least I WANT to listen to it)
I am sick. This is bad timing for me. My brother and I, our bell choir is performing again at the end of this week. Hopefully I'll feel better in time for practice tomorrow. Hey, guess what! Lyra is mobile!! Woo-hoo!! Yep, I now have my driver's liscence (sp). Kinda scary, huh? I'm just glad I passed; I did NOT want to have to take the test twice. *shudders* I had quite a few people praying for me, family members and church family members.

Sorry

  • Mood: asleep
  • Weather: cold
It's been like, what, two months since I've posted here? (shakes head) I'm a little mad with myself about that. I've just had so much going on lately, I end up being too tired in the evenings. This week has been/is going to be my busiest week of all. Afterwards, it will be getting close to Christmas, and things should be settleing down for awhile. (Yay!) So, just for the sake of having something to talk about, here's what's going on this week:

On Sunday, I had a piano recital. I played The Prayer. You know, the one Andrea Bocelli and Celine Dion sing together. (Josh Groban and Charlotte Church also sing it together.) I sorta rearranged the song, though. The music I had was to be played as an occumpaniment (sp) with two people. Yeah, well, I changed that: I wrote the voice parts into the piano part. My teacher seemed to like it!

Monday, I went driving with Dad, just sorts took him to places he needed to go. (I got a test coming up, so I guess you could say that I was cramming.

Tuesday: nothing special, just schoolwork.

Today (AKA Wednesday), I had a harp and piano lesson. That was this morning, and then this evening my brother and I had a bell choir practice.

Tomorrow (AKA Thursday), I have a driver's liscence test. My very FIRST driver's test, and hopefully my ONLY driver's test. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friday, an orthadontist appt. and yet another bell choir practice.

Sabbath (AKA Saturday), our bell choir is playing for church. I cannot wait for that, 'cause it's gonna be so much fun!!

Well, may not seem like a lot too you, but just try doing homeschool while your running all over the place.

It's starting to get late, and I am very tired. Goodnight!!

PS, laterly I've been thinking about getting rid of my journal, since I'm obviosly not writing in it much. But, I've decided to keep it. I figure that I can use the writing practice, it's good for me... But I am not writing again untill at least Sunday!!

Oops...hehe

  • Music: "Little Drummer Boy" - Josh Groban, Noel
  • Weather: Foggy, might rain later

Well, it doesn't seem like I'm doing a very god job with writing here and all. Ugh.

Mom and I were in town today because I had a harp lesson this morning, so we did some shopping afterwards. Our last stop was Target, which, I've been wanting to stop by there for over a week. Josh Groban recently came out with a Christmas CD, which both my mom and I are very happy about. Last year when his "Awake" CD came out, both Mom and I thought that he needed a Christmas CD. I been able to listen to allow to the last few songs on the "Noel" CD all of the way through yet, but I really like Little Drummer Boy. I don't know why - I just do. Sometimes you hear a song and you just like it! All of the other songs are really great too. I'm very happy that Josh made this CD!

Ok, if there's typos in this post, then I'll fix it in the morning. I'm expiramenting here.

Ciao!

  • Mood:

Well, this is my new journal! I hope I can keep this one updated more than the other one. I decided to switch journals ‘cause I didn’t like the address of my other one. But, I really like this address a lot, so I promise that I won’t do it again.

I have decided to try my very best to write in here every day. I know that I can’t do it all of the time like I want to, but I figure that if I at least try, then I can do it. Even if it’s just something very short, it’s better than writing nothing at all!

I am very excited because in two days I will be eighteen! Yay! Mom and I are going shopping. I’m not really too crazy about shopping, but its fun when to go with Mom. She knows what I like.

I have so many fanfiction plot bunnies jumping around in my head, that I’ve decided to grab a couple of them and try them out. I have about three of them that I’ve decided to really work on. The first one is a Bonanza fic; it’s more of a poem, actually, but it’s a story. It’s gone really well, in fact I have 250 words written (Which is a really big thing for me)! It’s probably about a quarter of the way finished. My second fic is a NUMB3RS and Bonanza crossover. I have over a thousand words written! (That, I am really excited about!) It’s basically a ‘Don Eppes meets Adam Cartwright’ kind of fic. I guess you could say that I have this…’theory’ is probably the word for it. And then, finally, my third one, which I haven’t even started yet, is a NUMB3RS fic about Charlie and a dog – a Great Dane. My brother has a Great Dane, so that one should be kind of fun to write.
